Nostalgia.....If you remember the 60s and 70s and maybe the decades before and after, as well and as fondly as I do, then you'll have a lot of fun here.
Youll find a mixture of really great free music samples, downloadable music and movie clips of those eras. If you would like to add to the content here with your own memories, pictures and anything else for that matter, please dont hesitate to contact us with your suggestions and contributions.
Amongst my own enduring memories are those of rebuilding my first ever motor bike (a Royal Enfield Constellation) from a box of bits and shortly afterwards riding it thorough a set of wooden garage doors when the throttle stuck wide open! Johnsons Cafe where the big deal was to put a record on the juke box, jump on the bike and make it down the mad mile through the S bends, round the roundabout and back again before the record finished. Bike or car (dependent on weather) runs to the coast and of course, the famous Ace Cafe in London.
Other nostalgic memories are of driving a column change Ford Zodiac with the back jacked up and a tinted sun visor on the windscreen and being able to fill a car's fuel tank for a ten bob note! Also the charmingly named Death Hill, Brands Hatch, the dreadful waste of the Falklands war, the movies 'Easy Rider', 'Thatll be the Day' and 'American Pie', rock n roll concerts at the Ally Pally, the garden of the Ship pub where my friend Denise used to roll those funny smelling cigarettes on her magnificent thigh! A distinct lack of drink driving enforcement. How most of us ever made it through those crazy years alive, I simply dont know and I still remember those unfortunate few who sadly didnt make it.........so I guess Ill dedicate this page to them.
